Dorinda Medley didn’t appreciate Jill Zarin insinuating she had a drinking problem on a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
“I think she’s very salacious,” Medley, 57, said about Zarin, 58, whom she referred to as an “acquaintance,” when a radio caller asked her to address Zarin’s “WWHL” shade.
“She hasn’t been on in a long time and I think, you know, this is new for her and this is her moment,” Medley continued.
Zarin was one of the original cast members of “The Real Housewives of New York City” before her exit during Season 4 in 2011. As for Medley, she was on the show from Season 7 to Season 12.
“Even Brandi [Glanville] said on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ the other night, she’s thirsty,” Medley reminded the caller. “Tamra [Judge] said it. She’s thirsty. So go for it. That’s what I say. Go for it.”
But when the caller said she had an issue with the “hurtful” things Zarin said, Medley told her, “Things are only hurtful in life when you care.
“My mother always says something: ‘consider the source’ … So I think people should say whatever they want. Just because you say it doesn’t mean it’s true. And how about this? Who cares?”
Earlier this month, the Jill Zarin Home designer claimed she was “done” and “not going to try anymore” with Medley until she got her drinking “resolved.”
“I think she is terrific and I loved her. I kept wanting to try to rekindle that friendship, but I’m done. I’m not going to try anymore,” Zarin said on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”
In an episode of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club,” the two women butted heads after Medley called Zarin a “lapdog” and “thirsty.” The fight left Zarin in tears.
